Ovidio Guerra

Ovidio Guerra was called home by the Lord on March 14, 2012, at the age of 65.

Ovidio-was born in Cleneguitas, Nuevo Leon on March 12, 1947. He was a great husband, grandfather, uncle, godfather, and friend. He was a gentle soul with an extremely big heart. Being around him made you feel happy, content, and safe. Everyone always embraced his numerous ways and welcomed advice. He was simple minded, humble, yet extremely intelligent. He always looked over other and took care of everyone who needed him. There was no problem he couldn't solve and the Lord blessed him dearly with many talents, knowledge, and strength to be able to support his whole family on his own. He enjoyed everything outdoors. His love and passion was being at his ranch with his animals, surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed listening to music, drinking coffee, but above all, being with his wife every second of the day. Taking her everywhere she wanted to go. Ovidio Guerra was a true old fashion gentleman that knew how to work hard, but love even harder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Dolores Guerra and Zulema Contreras de Guerra; daughter, baby Mary Guerra,-brothers, Rene Guadalupe Guerra, Ricardo Guerra;-and sisters, Aurora de Montemayor, Socorro Hernandez.

He is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Maria Teresa Guera; sons, Ovidio (Claudia) Guerra, Raul (Yanett) Guerra, and Jose Dolores (Venessa) Guerra; grandchildren, Armando, Emanuel, Anthony, Esckiel, Briana, Chanel, Raul Jr., J.D., Andrew, Kaylie Marie, Casey Joy; sisters and brother, Aurora Montemayor, Ricardo Guerra, Socorro Hernandez; as well as numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be: Ovidio Guerra Jr., Raul Guerra, Jose D. Guerra, Ricardo Guerra, Joe Martinez, Ricardo Guerra Jr., Armando Guerra, and Emmanuel Guerra.
