OMAR B. ARRIAGA, SR.

January 11, 1946 – April 26, 2023

Omar B. Arriaga, Sr., 77, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

He was preceded in passing by: his loving spouse, Elodia Esther Arriaga; his parents, Tranquilino and Rosalia Arriaga; daughter, Myrna Arriaga Johnson; brothers, Tranquilino Arriaga and Abel Arriaga.

Left to cherish his memory are: his children, Omar (Juany) Arriaga, Jr., Victor Hugo (Monica) Arriaga, Rene (Julieta) Arriaga, Monica (Juan) Ortiz, Sandra (John) Beagle, Gabriel (Esmeralda) Arriaga, and Ricardo (Tracy) Arriaga; twenty-three grandchildren and fourteen great grand-children; siblings, Evelia Saldivar, Isabel De La Peña, Dora (Josue) Caballero, Elvira (Raul) Macias, Hector (Sylvia) Arriaga, and Rosalia (Roberto) Rodriguez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, April 30, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer service will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday morning, May 1, 2023 where a Prayer service will commence at 11:30 a.m. with a departure at 12 p.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels where a Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Omar Arriaga, Jr., Victor Hugo Arriaga, Rene Arriaga, Gabriel Arriaga, Ricardo Arriaga, John Beagle, Juan Ortiz, and Ricardo Beagle.
