It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ofilia Uribe at the age of 94. She was born on September 9, 1929, in Zapata, Texas, and peacefully departed this life on July 14, 2024. Ofilia was a revered member of the founding families of Zapata, a place she called home for 24 years before eventually settling down in peaceful matrimony with Albar Uribe, Sr. in 1954. Throughout her remarkable life, Ofilia Uribe devoted her time and dedication to the healthcare industry, serving diligently in various capacities within hospitals. Her unwavering work ethic and dedication were synonymous with her identity, eventually culminating in a well-deserved retirement from Doctor's Hospital on Mann Rd.
