Mrs. Ofelia C. Ramirez, 88, entered into the loving presence of God on Friday, February 2, 2018 at a local hospital, surrounded by her family.
Ofelia was preceded in death by her husband: Guillermo Ramirez, son: Jorge Ramirez, and daughter: Marcela Ramirez.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Guadalupe Ramirez, Guillermo (Esperanza) Ramirez, Jr., Sonia (Candido) Esquivel, Jesus N. (Celia) Ramirez, Roberto (Clare McDonald) Ramirez, Ofelia (Juan) Salinas, Martin (San Juana) Ramirez, Luciana (Jesus) Villanueva, Luz (Pablo) Betancourt, Rosana Ramirez, Javier (Elena) Ramirez, Marcela Hernandez; 40 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Ventura Cardenas, Olga Pecina as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring @ Cortez from 4 to 9 in the evening. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 7 in the evening.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 departing at 9:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights to St. Agnes Catholic Mission, 3rd St., Mirando City, Texas, 78369 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.
Pallbearers are: Juan Jose Gonzalez, Daniel Villanueva, Nicolas Ramirez, Jr., Martin Ramirez, Jr., David Ramirez, Feliciano Hernandez, Jesus Angel Hernandez, Luis Alvarez, Jordan Ramirez, Jesus G. Ramirez, Jesus Villanueva III, Richard Anthony Ramirez, Jorge Landeros, Jr., and Jose Pablo Landeros.
Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City, Texas.
