Ofelia Carranco

Ofelia Carranco was called to be with the Lord on April 11, which coincided with the birthday of her eldest son, who preceded her in death. She was a wonderful woman that will be remembered continuously and missed terribly by her family and friends, but especially by her husband of 68 years.

She was born in Illinois, raised in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico, and lived the rest of her life in Laredo, TX.

Ofelia is survived by her husband Antonio Carranco, daughter Ofelia Marie (Richard) Fritz of Lubbock, TX,-sons Jorge Carranco of Laredo, and Robert (Diane Frances) Carranco of San Antonio, brother Ricardo (Yolanda) Garza of Laredo, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son Antonio Carranco Jr, parents Edmundo and Adelaida Garza, brothers Edmundo Garza Jr., and Raul Garza, and by her sister, Marta Dovalina.
