Norma Vela

Norma Margarita Vela, 65, entered peacefully into eternal rest at her home on Friday, August 03, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raul Vela Salinas and Margarita Valdivia Vela; her brother, Miguel Angel Vela; and her aunt, Maria Cristina Valdivia.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jose Alejandro Maldonado and Juan Enrique (Darcy) Martinez; grandchildren, Keanu Enrique Martinez, Kai Edward Martinez, and Kamdyn Rose Martinez; siblings, Raul de Jesus Vela, Juanita (David) Mendiola, David (Hopie) Vela, and Cristina (Carlos) Villarreal.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, August 05, 2018 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, August 06, 2018 departing at 8 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
