NICHOLAS DOUGLAS OCTOBER 28, 1922 - DECEMBER 12, 2014 Mr. Nicholas Douglas, 92, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 12, 2014. Mr. Douglas is preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Cipriana Gabaldon Douglas, and brother Alexander Douglas. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years of marriage, Juana Maria Douglas; daughter Maria del Pilar (Juan Thomas Chavera) Douglas; sisters-in-law Rebecca Douglas, Esperanza (Francisco) Castillo; brother-in-law Rodolfo (Ana Maria) Trevio; nephews and nieces, Dr. Oscar N. Lightner, Helen Lopez, Patricia (Greg) Melendez, and Edward (Alejandra) Lightner, Jr. He is also survived by other numerous beloved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to San Agustin Cathedral for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
