Nerida Chapa

Mrs. Nerida Garza Chapa, 64, went to her eternal home in the presence of the angels and saints in heaven on March 02, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas.-She now joins her loving husband, Evaristo Chapa who passed away May 2012.

Mrs. Chapa was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to many.-In her lifetime, she was a dedicated mother who spent her life devoted to the raising and educating her beloved children.-It is those memories that will forever live in their hearts and minds.-Her selfless devotion to her family was also augmented by her dedication to her faith.-She strived to raise all her children in the trust of the church and to always put their faith in God above all else.-It is her continued devotion that shall be forever passed along to her many descendants.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Evaristo Chapa and her son, Jose Eduardo Garza.

Nerida is survived by her adored children, Maria Inez (Rudy) Pena, Nerida Chapa and Evaristo Chapa, Jr.; grandson, Eddie Pena; mother, Jeronima Garza; and siblings, Leonel (Mari Linda) Garza, Orelia Santos, Francisco and Ramiro Garza. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.
