NANCY HARALSON CHILDRESS

Nancy Haralson Childress passed away at her home in Del Rio, Texas on May 7, 2017 at the age of 95.

Nancy is predeceased by her first husband, Charles E. Haralson and her second husband William (Bill) Childress. She is also predeceased by her oldest daughter Linda Haralson Fagan.

Nancy is lovingly remembered by her son Charles F. Haralson and his wife Linda Sample Haralson of Del Rio, Texas and her daughter Sharon Haralson Link of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren. This includes Brandon Fagan of Lakeway, Texas, Charles R. Haralson of Del Rio, Texas, Tom Haralson of Zapata, Texas, Christian Link of Snowmass Village, Colorado, Nancy Smith of Houston, Texas and Heather Link Curry of Austin, Texas. Nancy is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Nancy was passionate about gardening, the love of her family, and heartfelt memories of good friends.

A family graveside service will be held at the Laredo Cemetery on Saturday, May 13th where she will be laid to rest next to Charles E. Haralson.

A celebration of her long and glorious life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Saint Jude’s Hospital.
