Myriam Camarillo

May 21, 1992 — July 13, 2019

“Today I saw a butterfly and now I know the reason why; though I still grieve and I still mourn, my precious one has been reborn. You have left a void no one else can fill and even though you flew away, your presence, love, and kindness will forever be remembered.”

Ms. Myriam Camarillo, 27, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

She was a basketball enthusiast with a huge admiration for Lebron James. Everyone who knew her, knew better than to speak ill of him in her presence. An animal lover at heart, her dog, Oldog was often spoiled by her. She loved butterflies, roses, and the color pink… everything had to be pink. Family always came first for Myriam and she was foremost in lending others a helping hand. A kind heart, a gentle mind, and a beautiful soul gone entirely too soon. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she has touched.

Myriam was preceded in death by her grandmother, whom she adored, Catalina Gonzalez.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving mother, Sandy (Christopher) Pineda; her three brothers, Alfredo Santana, Juan Carlos, and Zeth; father/grandfather, Alfredo Gonzalez; uncles, Francisco Gonzalez (Charles Procell); aunts, Esther (Arturo) Elizondo, Sara (Cameron) Chapman, Damaris (Juan) Jimenez, and her loving boyfriend, Christian Velazquez. Also surviving her are her cousins, Andy, JJ, Mikey, Carla, CJ, Alex, Jesse, DJ, Carla Reese, Cami, and Emrys; as well as numerous other loved relatives and friends.

Her family would like to thank the community for the outpour of support they have received during this difficult time.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Celebration of Life will commence at 7 p.m.

In keeping Myriam’s beautiful memory alive, we kindly request that those attending her Celebration of Life Service wear pink (her favorite color) or butterflies.
