Mejia Jr.; grandchildren, Carlotta Romaynne Gutierrez, Roman Guiterrez, Melissa Yvonne Mejia; parents, Sotero and Mucia Ramirez; son-in-law, Roman Gutierrez; daughter-in-law, France Ansel Mejia; brothers, Raul Ramirez, Lisandro Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez, Jose Refugio Ramirez, Sotero Ramirez; and sisters, Florinda R. Garcia, Emilia R. Cuellar, Crecensia R. San Miguel, Viviana R. Flores.

Mucia is survived by her children, Carlota M. (+Roman) Gutierrez of Edinburg, Texas; Carlos V. (+France) Mejia of Laredo, Texas, Mucia M. (Jesus) Gonzalez of San Marcos, Texas, Norma M. (Galo) Garcia of Laredo, Texas, Juan (Sylvia) Mejia of Edinburg, Texas; daughter-in-law, Amira E. (+Enrique A.) Mejia of Laredo, Texas; as well as 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; her cousins, Alonso (Beatriz) Garcia, Amparo (+Salvador) Garcia; as well as numerous dear nieces, nephews, other relatives, many lifelong friends, and companion and caregiver, Bernadina Dimas.
