MSGT. Eduardo Jose Reyna, Sr., U.S. Air Force, Retired, age 77, entered into rest on Monday, July 06, 2020 at his home with his beloved wife and children by his side.
Mr. Reyna was an alumni of Martin High School. He served over 20 years in the active military USAF and another 20 years dedicated to the Dept. of Defense Civil Service. Mr. Reyna had his own bookkeeping practice and had many friends and clients.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Eduardo Damaso Reyna and Maria Eliza Solis Jimenez, also by Roberto Reyna USA, Jose Florencio Reyna, and Abraham Damaso Reyna.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife; Rosa Maria Reyna; children, Eduardo Jose Reyna, Jr. (SPC4/USA) & wife, Elsa Myrna Gomez Reyna (USBP), Jorge Alejandro Reyna (SGT/USAF) & wife, Dora Maria Reyna, Rosa Maria Outsey (née Reyna) (HM3/EMT/USN) & husband, Clarence W. Outsey (ET3/HM3/USN), and Jesus Alberto Reyna & wife, Patricia Reyna (née Cisneros); as well as by his grandchildren, Joshua Job Reyna (CPL/USMCR), Leland Abraham Reyna (SSGT/USMC), Elizabeth Esperanza England (née Reyna) & husband, Matthew Eugene England, Eduardo Jose Reyna, III USAF (RES. AIRMAN), Christianity Estelle Reyna, Emily Victoria Reyna, Christian Alexander Reyna, James Anthony Miguel Outsey, Ezekiel Elijah Reyna, Cyrus Cassius Reyna (SPC4/USA), Elias Ezra Reyna, and Idalia Apollonia Reyna. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren, River Callista Reyna, Julia Shae Athena Reyna, Isabelle Rosemary England, and Matthew Eugene England; his siblings, Raul Soliz Reyna, Martha Elvira Quintana, and Javier Reyna SPC4/USA; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, July 9, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd. where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, July 10, 2020; where a Chapel Service will commence at 10 a.m. led by Deacon Jose Longoria.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Laredo City Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the U.S.A.F. Honor Guard and American Legion Post 59.
