Minerva C. "Mine" Reyna November 3, 1931 - December 5, 2014 Minerva C. "Mine" Reyna, 83, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 5, 2014. Minerva C. Reyna is preceded in death by her husband: Jose Reyna, Sr., sons: Gilberto G. Reyna, Jose Reyna, Jr.; daughter: Laura A. Castillo; granddaughter: Jessica Marie Reyna. She is survived by her son: David (Leticia) Reyna; daughter: Elsa (Jerry) Garcia; grandchildren: Juan Jose "J.J." Castillo, Selina (Gilbert) Perez, Marissa (Fernando) Ballesteros, David Andre Reyna, Laura Anita Garcia, Jennifer Maria Reyna, James Michael Reyna, Jacklyn Marie Reyna; great-grandchildren: A.B. Perez, Julie Perez, Raine Perez, Quinten Ballesteros, Lindsey Ballesteros, Khloe Ballesteros; cousins: Norma Cavazos, Gloria Martinez, Gloria Cantu; sister-in-law: Maria del Refugio "Tia Cuca" Reyna; also including other loving relatives and friends. Special thanks to: Dr. Mohsen Mahani, Dr. Armando Hinojosa, and Dr. Maria Regalado for their care during her illness. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 7:00 am to 9:30 am, with a prayer service at 9:00 am. Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:45 am to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass at 10:00 am. Pallbearers will be: David Reyna, Jerry Garcia, David Andre Reyna, James Michael Reyna, A.B. Perez, and Elsa Reyna Garcia. Cremation will be held at a later date.
