MIGUEL MALDONADO SR.

Mr. Miguel Maldonado, Sr., 85, entered into the kingdom of heaven on Monday, January 25, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He enjoyed working with for his lifelong employer, El Metro Transit. The only thing he loved more than his job was fishing, music, and most of all his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jose and Loreto Maldonado; daughter: Rosa Maria Maldonado; first wife: Raquel P. Maldonado; brother: Jose Ezequiel Maldonado.

Left behind to cherish his memories is his wife: Petra H. Maldonado; children: Miguel (Esther) Maldonado, Rachel (Tom) Stafford, Julio (Hilda) Maldonado, Henry (Lois) Maldonado, Loretta (Darrell) Price, Gustavo (Mariza) Maldonado, Delia Guerrero and Annette (Cecilio Garcia) Maldonado; grandchildren: Jacqueline and Michelle Maldonado; Tammy (Robert) Martinez; Daniel and Rozanna Maldonado; Brock Maldonado; Evan and Lori Rodriguez; Gus (Rosa), Roberto and Christian Maldonado; Ricardo, Julio and Mark Guerrero; great-grandchildren: Hayden, Joshua and Araceli Martinez; sister: Ethel Gustin. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., with a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.

The funeral procession will depart at 8:25 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
