Michael Steven Speer, Jr., 26, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 14, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ricardo De La Cruz, and step-grandfather Roel Castillo.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Virginia De La Cruz, father Michael Steven Speer, Sr.; daughter Brianna Michelle Speer; mother of his daughter, Arleen Barrera; aunts, Vanessa (Juan S. Garcia) De La Cruz, Viviana Castillo, Isabel E. Castillo; uncle Ricardo De La Cruz, Jr.; cousins, Aurora Garcia, Athena Garcia, Anahi Garcia, Armando Garcia, Ariel Garcia, Jonathan Rodriguez, Maddison Rodriguez, Ernesto Robles, Moises Robles, Gustavo Robles, Aram Enoch De La Cruz; and his grandmother Virginia Castillo.  He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
