Melquiades Treviño

Mr. Melquiades R. Treviño, 66, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 31, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melquiades V. and Francisca Cantu Treviño.

He is survived by his sister Genoveva T. (Oscar Jaime) Martinez; his nephew Oscar Jaime (Jeanette) Martinez, Jr.; his niece Dianza (David Gomez) Velasquez; grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Oscar Jaime Martinez III, Destiny Martinez, Jayden Martinez, Denise Velasquez, Amanda Velasquez, and Madalyn Gomez. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels; 719 Loring at Cortez Street.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
