MELBA P. GUTIERREZ December 28, 1929 - June 15, 2014 Melba P. Gutierrez, 84, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 15, 2014. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Martin Gutierrez; parents, Enrique S. and Herminia Rios Perez; brother, Enrique Perez Jr.; and sister, Diana Alaniz. Melba is survived by her sister, Viola (Antonio) Benavides; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, other loved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Road from 5 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary scheduled to begin promptly at 7 p.m. Funeral procession will depart on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
