El Señor es mi pastor; nada me faltará.

Mrs. Matilde Cordoba, 74, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

Matilde was a woman of great faith, who was devout to the Lord and His teachings. She was known for opening her home to anyone in need and was notorious for providing the best, most delicious meals. She loved unconditionally, was hardworking, and was the back bone of her family. Cooking, gardening, travel, and spending time with her beloved family were her passions. Her beautiful and devoted memory will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in passing by: her beloved husband, Maximino Cordoba; parents, Cecilio & Andrea Martinez; siblings, Juan Pablo Martinez, Maria Julia M. de Alba, Evaristo Martinez, Juan Angel Martinez, and Maria Luisa M. de Gallegos; and granddaughters, Seleste A. Camacho and Stephanie D. Camacho.

Left to cherish her memory are: her daughters, Martha E. (Jose de Jesus) Camacho and Ana R. (Juan A.) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Sarah O. Camacho, Samantha M. Camacho, Scarlett Camacho, Ruth A. Landin, Natalie I. Landin, Malachi M. Landin, Rhianna Rodriguez, Corina A. Rodriguez, and Jay A. Rodriguez; great-grandchild, Alianna M. Castillo, and siblings, Armandina M. (Jesus Armando) Salinas, Rosario Martinez Berlanga, Adriana Martinez Berlanga, Francisco E. Martinez, and Ruperto (Claudia) Martinez; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, November 25, 2022 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, November 26, 2022 where a Chapel Service will be held at 10 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels.

Graveside Services & Interment will follow at the family plot of the Laredo City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Rodriguez, Orlando Izaguirre, Juan Pablo Martinez, Francisco Martinez, Jr., Joe Camacho, Ruperto Martinez, Francisco Martinez, Sr., and Malachi Landin.
