MARTHA B. RIOS

May 11, 1984- August 10, 2023

Martha B. Rios, 39, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

She was preceded in passing by her maternal grandfather Antonio Garza, and her paternal grandmother Beatriz Treviño.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jesus Rios and Martha Garza; her life partner Juan Lopez; her children, Andres M. Lopez, and Livan D. Lopez; her sister, Nancy (Rene Requejo) Rios; her nieces, Alexandra Montante Rios, and Kassandra Montante Rios; her grandmother, Nancy Garza; her cousins, Christelle Garza, Luis Christian Garza, Nancy Garza, and Cinthya I. Rios; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, August 16, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, August 17, 2023 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m.

As per the family’s request, please wear bright colors for the service.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
