MARIA JOSEFINA MAR

SEPTEMBER 30, 1941 – JANUARY 14, 2018

Mrs. Maria Josefina Mar, 76, entered into the loving arms of the heavenly father on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Round Rock, Texas. She left this world to join her beloved husband, Carlos Mar, Sr. May you rest in peace in the presence of the Almighty and may we forever carry you in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Aurelio and Elvira Garza; husband, Carlos Mar, Sr.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Maria Concepcion Mar, Carlos (Sara Alicia) Mar, Jr., Julian Mar, Maricela (John) Mar-Baker, Jose A. (Norma E.) Mar and Rosalinda “Shorty” Peña; grandchildren: Maria J. (Juan) Mar-Ramos, Carlos Mar, III, Marleen (Jaime Pesina) Mar, Alan Alvarado, Julian Mar, Jr., Abel Alvarado, Carlos Mar, Enrique Mar, Alec Alvarado, Sara Lizmar Mar; great-grandchildren: Kaiden Pesina, Nolan Ramos; as well as by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd., Laredo, Texas 78041.

Funeral procession will form and continue with the Rite of Committal. Interment will immediately follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Carlos Mar, Jr., Julian Mar, Jose Mar, Julian Mar, Jr., Carlos Mar, III, John Baker, Alan Alvarado and Rosalinda Peña.
