MARIA TERESA GARZA

OCTOBER 12, 1952 - JANUARY 5, 2016

Mrs. Maria Teresa Garza, 63, entered into the arms of the heavenly father on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Genaro and Ignacia Garza; brothers, Santos Genaro Garza, Gerardo Garza, and Samuel Garza.

She is survived by her daughter Monica Garza-Tate (Billy); grandchildren, Adriana G. Garza, Elena M. Garza, Desean J. Tate; sisters, Rosa Elena (Adan) Hernandez, Veronica (Joe) Gonzalez, and Raquel (Antonio) Ramos. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil and Rosary scheduled to be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. Please meet at church by 8:15 a.m.

Cremation services will be held at a later date.
