Maria Reyna

Maria Teresa "Terry" Reyna, 65, entered into her eternal rest on Monday, December 1, 2014 at her home in Belleville, New Jersey. Terry was born in Laredo, Texas to Enrique and Teresa (Rodriguez) Reyna on April 16, 1949 and was raised and educated in Laredo until her graduation from Ursuline Academy, where after she pursued her degree at Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. Having received her degree, she went on to live in North Hollywood, California in the early 1970's until 1986, when she moved to Belleville, New Jersey. Terry was a Claims Auditor with AIG Insurance Co. in Parsippany before retiring and spending time with her beloved friends and family. She is predeceased by her parents: Enrique and Teresa (Rodriguez) Reyna; sisters: Alicia Garcia and Elva Leal. Surviving her are her siblings: Henry Reyna, Jr. and Gloria Reyna. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many beloved friends from New Jersey. Family and friends gathered Wednesday afternoon, the 3rd of December 2014 from 2 to 6 in the chapel at S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Nutley, New Jersey to bid her farewell. A service was held at 5:30 in the evening. The family will be receiving condolences in Laredo, Texas the evening of Friday the 5th of December 2014 from 6 to 8 with a Rosary being recited at 7 in the Chapel of Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. Procession will depart the funeral chapel Saturday morning the 6th of December 2014 at 9:40 in the morning to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in the morning. Rite of Committal and Interment will immediately follow to the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Cecilio Garcia, Jr., Arturo Manuel Leal, Cecilio Enrique "Ricky" Garcia, Kenneth Kluting, and Mark Berry.
