Maria Muriel

Maria Muriel, 90, has gone to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 22, 2016.

Maria was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, until her daughters cared for her in Edinburg. Maria spent her last days rejoicing for her grandchildren's accomplishments. It is with a joyful state of mind that she bid us farewell. For unto God's hand's she placed her life, thus mirroring his ways.

Maria is remembered by her five sons: Joel Daniel Muriel, Roel Gabriel Muriel, Noel Ariel Muriel, Pablo Muriel Jr., and Leonel Angel Muriel (Monica Muriel) and her three daughters: Monica Mabel Kasprzynski (David Kasprzynski), Veronica Anabel Muriel, and Paulina Isabel Muriel. Maria will be remembered through her grandchildren: Daniel Muriel, Ariana Muriel, Talisa De La Rosa, Brittany Best, Michael Kasprzynski, Jordan Kasprzynski, Alexandra Best, Matthew Best, and Levi Muriel. She will live on through her great grandchildren: Adrian Muriel, Aubrey Villalon, and Dominic Villalon; as well as by her sister, San Juana Costilla.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening, May 23, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2016 departing from Joe Jackson Heights to San Agustin Cathedral for a Mass of Christian Burial. Mass time is still pending, for more information please contact our office at (956) 722-0001.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
