MARIA DE LA LUZ MADRID SEPTEMBER 26, 1920 - SEPTEMBER 2, 2015 Maria de la Luz Madrid, 94, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Rosa Alicia Madrid; husband Carlos Madrid, Sr.; grandson Mark Anthony Madrid; daughter Yolanda Madrid Lara; son Carlos Madrid, Jr., and daughter Virginia Madrid. She is survived by her children, Hector Madrid, Sandra Madrid, Oscar (Blanca) Madrid, Katherine A. Esparza; grandchildren, Victor Vidaurri, Trinidad Lara, Ricardo Lara, Nicole Lopez, Oscar Martinez, Cesar Madrid, Alisa Madrid, Carlos J. Martinez, Emma Madrid; great-grandchildren, Kristina Vidaurri, Brianna Vidaurri, Xavier Gonzalez, Ricky Lara, Jr., Danielle Lara, Miley Santos, Jaxon A. Lara, Audrey Gonzalez, and Oscar Martinez III. She is also survived by her relatives, Oscar and Carolina Racine and family. Visitation will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers are: Hector Madrid, Oscar Madrid, Victor Vidaurri, Trinidad Lara, Ricardo Lara, Oscar Martinez, Cesar Madrid, and Carlos J. Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers are: Alisa Madrid, Kristina Vidaurri, and Brianna Vidaurri. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
