MARIA ISABEL "CHAVELA" CASAREZ NUé'EZ
February 23, 1977 - September 30, 2016

Maria Isabela "Chavela" Casarez Nuñez, 39, was called upon by our Lord, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 30th, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jesus A. Hernandez; sister, Dora A. Casarez; brother in law, Jose A. Rios; and her father in law, Hector Nuñez.

In her spare time Maria loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved taking care of her nieces and nephrews.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Mario A. Nuñez; children, Mario A. Nuñez Jr., Adriana Nuñez; her mother, Epifania Casarez; sisters, Alejandra Lopez, Veronica Lara, Cynthia Rios, Anna (Jose Luis Jr.) Varela; brothers, Rey (Yolanda) Tolentino, Juan Rene (Dora) Hernandez, Ruben (Maribel) Vasquez; brothers and sisters in law, Lisela Hernandez, Hector O. Nuñez, Irene (Francisco) Espinoza, Rosa I. (David) Cantu, Monica (Alfredo) Cantu, Jesus (Rebecca) Nuñez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Drengler and staff; especially Monica Carrasco at the STAR Center, and Father Richard Hall.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday the 2nd of October 2016 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. on Monday the 3rd of October 2016 from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

Interment will then follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Mario A. Nuñez, Mario A. Nuñez Jr., Jose Luis Varela III, Alejandro Garcia, Rodolfo Lopez IV, Sergio A. Casarez, Rey Tolentino, and Ruben Vasquez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Veronica J. Lara, Amanda N. Casarez, Amber R. Lopez, Jessalynn Mata, Daniel Zapata Jr., and Isaiah G. Casarez.
