MARIA J. GUERRA December 24, 1922 - March 25, 2015 Maria J. Guerra, 92, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Mrs. Guerra is preceded in death by her husband Jose Maria Guerra; parents, Valentin and Amalia Garcia; daughter Graciela Guerra; brother Fidencio (Guadalupe) Garcia; in laws, Eulalio (Eloisa) Guerra; sisters in law, Leonor (Jose) Sanchez, and Aida Rodriguez. She is survived by her son Francisco (Anita) Guerra; daughter Elsa (Jorge Luis) Paredes; grandchildren, Ana Laura (Eric Jay) Puckett, Annabella (Carmelo) D'Angelo, Francisco (Dora) Guerra, Jr., Sandra Guerra, Jose Maria (Veronica) Guerra, Jorge Luis (Julie) Paredes, Roxy Guerra, Jesus Jose Guerra, Elizabeth Guerra, Rodolfo Daniel Guerra; great grandchildren, Ana Liza Garza and April Puckett, Andrea, Anthony and Ashlee D'Angelo, Hernan Martinez, Frankie and Angelica Guerra, Novaleagh and Larry Estrada, Demarie, Xavier and Alyssa Guerra, Jiselle, Jenna and Jackie Paredes, David, Andrea and Jaylene Guerra; 3 great great grandchildren; sister in law Hilda Almendarez, and Norma Carolina Contreras. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
