Maria Gloria Armenta, 94, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, October 15, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Romana Ojeda Armenta; sister, Olga Castañeda; and niece, Olga Castañeda.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother-in-law, Felix Castañeda, Jr.; nieces, Sara Alicia Castañeda and Beatriz M. Herrera; as well as by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, October 19, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, October 20, 2017 departing at 9:15 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
