Maria Elizondo

Maria R. Elizondo, 72, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, May 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Josefina R. Ramos. Maria is survived by her only daughter, Patricia Campos; beloved grandchildren, Elda (Ray) Hinojosa, Damaris (Gerardo) Leza, Natalie (Orlando) Rocha, Isaiah Garcia and Ronnie Campos; and adored great-grandchildren, Divina Hinojosa, Ray Hinojosa, Jr., David Hinojosa, Daniel Hinojosa, and Ava R. Leza. She is also survived by her siblings, Gloria (Fermin ) Larralde, Elsie (Guillermo) Hinojosa, Hector Ramos, Victor Ramos and Mario Ramos, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to Nurses on Wheels & South Texas Health Staffing for all of their care and support. "We cannot forget to thank her spiritual brothers and sisters in Christ, the Revs. Mr. & Mrs. Enrique and Ninfa Segovia for the spiritual guidance given to our matriarch Maria. May Christ keep guiding your path as you help others in need." Visitation will be held on Monday, June 02, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. A Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m. A Chapel Service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 03, 2014 at 9 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, Pastor Enrique Segovia will be officiating. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
