Maria Diaz

Mrs. Mara Dolores Daz, 84, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 19, 2012 fulfilling her ultimate wish to pass away in her home with her loving family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mauro and Victoria Alcaraz; children, Jose de Jess Daz, Ricardo Alfonso Daz and Martin Daz; brother and sister-in-law, Mauro and Ninfa Alcaraz; and sister, Socorro Espinoza.

Mara Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jose A. Daz; children, Victoria Sanchez, Juan A. (Mara Mercedes) Daz, Francisco "Paco" (Wilma) Daz, Gerardo (Cynthia) Daz, Carmen (Mario) Ramrez, Lourdes (Martin) Aguirre and Jorge Daz; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, as well as an extended number of nephews, nieces, cousins and other loved relatives.

The Family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to Mara Dolores's grandchildren, Jose Sanchez, Lisa Ramrez, Elizabeth Daz and Jessica Ramrez who unselfishly devoted loving time and care;-and to her caregivers, Sylvia, Gloria, Judy, Sylvia, Rosa and Tonia for their unconditional love and attention.

A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Oscar Perez for working so well with the family to fulfill her wishes as well as Dr. Trevino, Dr. Enrique Garca, Dr. Huang, Dr. Diego Menchaca, Star Ambulance Service and Staff, Healthcare Unlimited Home Health, and Blakey Medical Center, especially Frank and Esther, for always being so patient and gentle with her and for their exceptional care, dedication and support to our beloved Mara and our family.
