Mrs. Maria de Jesus Montes Aguilar, 92, entered into the presence of the almighty on Thursday, December 08, 2016 surrounded by her loving family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Julian Montes and Maria de Leon; her spouse: Margarito Aguilar; children: Jesus "Tito" Rizo, Agustin Rizo, Bernardo Rizo and Antonia R. Arellano; siblings: Maria de los Angeles Montes Palacios (Ranulfo) and Guadalupe Montes as well as by a brother in law: Leonel Parras.

Left behind to cherish the memories are her children: Roberto (America Rendon) Rizo of Laredo, TX; Jesus Mario (Rosa E. Hernandez) Rizo of Corpus Christi, TX and sister: Carmen Montes Parra (Leonel) of Brownsville, TX and son in law Jose Angel Arellano of Laredo, TX. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 from Joe Jackson North to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Ernie Benavides, Eric Benavides, Roberto "Bobby" Palacios, Mario Alonso Rizo, Alejandro Daniel Rizo, Daniel Arellano, David Hinojosa, and Leo Parras.
