MARIA LUCIA CASTILLO JANUARY 07, 1928 - JANUARY 20, 2015 Maria Lucia Castillo, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the age of 87. Mrs. Maria L. Castillo is preceded in death by her husband Bartolo Castillo; parents, Cristobal and San Juana Compean; sisters, Maria Placida Castillo, Apolonia Guillen, Aurelia Garcia, Elvira Compean; brothers, Tereso Compean, and Felipe Compean. She is survived by her children, Guadalupe T. Castillo, Maria Concepcion (Reyes) Rios, Jorge Javier (Cynthia) Castillo, Jose Francisco (Laura) Castillo, Lucy Castillo; grandchildren, Cindy (Richard) Giron, Martha (Mark) Aragon, Reyes "Boy" (Teresa) Rios, Robert (Abby) Rios, Jorge Javier Castillo, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jiselda, Jacinda, and Josiah Aragon, Jordan and Juliet Rios, Enrique Giron, and soon to be born Joshuah Rios; sister Eduarda Moreno; brother Faustino (Consuelo) Compean; brothers in law, Ernesto Garcia, Norberto (Paula) Castillo, and Gabriel Castillo. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends. A special thanks to all the caregivers from Santa Rita Home Health for their upmost attention and care given to our mother. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be celebrated at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
