MARIA H. ARANDA

Maria H. Aranda, 70, was called home by our Heavenly Father on July 07, 2017, she left peacefully from home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norberto Aranda II, her son Noberto Aranda III, her parents Adalberto & Maria Guadalupe Hinojosa, her sister Edelmira Gonzalez, her brothers Ulises, Simplicio, Adalberto & Rodolfo Hinojosa.
Maria is survived by her daughters Terry (Mauro) Torres, Adriana (Eduardo) Valdivia Martinez, Lupita (Oscar) Flores; Grandchildren, Deyanira, Denise, Norberto IV & Alejandro Aranda, Emily Nicole & Mauro Guillermo Torres II, Ivanna & Luzadrianna Flores; Great grandchild, Gael Emiliano Aranda. Brothers Alejo & Marcelo Hinojosa, Sisters, Severa Moreno, Guillermina Arteaga, Minerva De Leon & Beatriz Hinojosa. Also by numerous Nephews & Nieces
Maria was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grand Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend to all who knew her.
Maria grew up in General Treviño, Nuevo Leon. The Hinojosa family later moved to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, where Maria worked as a nurse at Santa Isabel Hospital. Nuevo Laredo was where she met the love of her life Norberto. They married and later moved to Laredo, Texas where together they opened “Aranda Transmissions “a successful business in both Nuevo Laredo & Laredo Texas. Together they led a happy, very social life with many friends in both cities. Maria was very energetic. People who met her were left with an everlasting memory of her. Maria was an avid Bingo player, where she was loved by many. Her sisters Mine & Betty would go play Loteria with her every week. She was vibrant and active until the death of her son, after that she suffered several health problems; her daughters cared for her as their most precious possession.
Pallbearers will be: Eduardo Valdivia Martinez, Oscar Flores, Mauro Torres, Jose Aranda, Ricardo Garcia, Arturo Gonzalez, Jose Luis De Leon, Jaime Hinojosa, Fernando Arizpe and Francisco Tapia.

The family will receive condolences today, July 08, 2017 from 8 a.m. to10:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel, 1410 Jacaman Rd.
A Chapel Service will be conducted at 9 a.m. Funeral procession will depart at 10:40 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
