Margarita P. Noriega
April 23, 1939 – February 28, 2025
Margarita P. Noriega, 85, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, February 28, 2025.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cultivating her cherished garden with the same care and tenderness she extended to those around her. There was not a flower she couldn't coax into bloom, and her floral arrangements were a testament to her artistic spirit. Her culinary skills were legendary; family gatherings were often adorned with the savory spices of her cooking and the sweet delights of her baking, moments that will forever linger in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of sharing her table.
Margarita had a passion for movies, relishing the stories told through the silver screen, and she loved nothing more than sharing those cinematic adventures during weekly outings with her beloved sisters. Together, they created treasured memories that will echo through the years, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the warmth of sisterhood. Her fondness for shopping was not merely about acquiring items; it was an expression of her zest for life—an opportunity to share joyful moments with loved ones.
For over 30 years, Margarita was a devoted employee at HEB, where her strong work ethic and friendly disposition endeared her to countless customers and colleagues alike. Her legacy is marked not only by her dedication to her work but also by the love and friendship she freely gave.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Jose and Trinidad Paredes; siblings, Lilia (Ramon) Pena, Roberto Paredes, Hortencia (Pedro) Cardenas; brother-in-law, Mario Sanchez; nieces, Alma Peña, Griselda Peña Ortiz.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years of marriage Oscar Noriega, sibling, Guadalupe (Mario †) Sanchez; nieces and nephews, Ana Laura (Eduardo) Juarez, Jose Martin (Martha Judith) Cardenas, Alberto (Lydia) Cardenas, Javier (Cindy) Cardenas, Mario (Teresa) Sanchez Jr., Sandra (Eduardo) Serna, Rolando (Nora) Sanchez, Elsa Sanchez, Veronica (Jorge) Lopez, Leticia Peña, Gerardo Peña, Belinda Paredes, Judith (Gerardo) Garza, Guadalupe Paredes, Jose Paredes; sister-in-law, Guadalupe Paredes as well as numerous other relatives, and friends.
