Margarita Meza

February 8, 1933 — September 18, 2020

Margarita Meza, 87, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, September 18, 2020.

Margarita was a dedicated and loving housewife. She adored her family and encouraged her children to pursue their talents to their fullest potential. She was demure at times, but her keen sense of humor had everyone smiling along with her. She had a smile and laugh that filled the room. Some of her favorite pastimes included sitting in front of the television to watch her favorite novelas, reading the newspaper with pan dulce, solving puzzles, and talking on the phone with family. She loved unconditionally and it is a gift everyone will cherish for the rest of their lives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Meza; and by her parents, Benito and Teresa Diaz.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers and sister-in-law, Alejandro, Benito, Jr. and George (Dolores) Diaz; and her loving children, Gloria (Gerardo) Cabrera, Adriana (Francisco) Lopez, Teresa Chapa, Alfredo H. Meza, Margarita (Arturo) Murillo, Ernesto (Nora) Meza, and Raquel Meza. She is further survived by her adored grandchildren, Marco, Christina, Paul (Dyandra) and Catarina Cabrera, Ylsse (Raul) Maldonado, Ariane and Ben Lopez, Higino “Louie” (Angela) and Alysse Chapa, Jennifer (Danny) Treviño, Johnny Holloway, Arthur Murillo, Ernesto Meza Jr., Sarah, Rob, and Isabella Flores, and Daniela (John) Peacock; and by her 10 beloved great-grandchildren; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

We wish to thank all of our family and friends that have expressed their condolences on the loss of our beloved Margarita. During this pandemic, and with social responsibility in mind, all funeral services will be held privately by our family.
