The evening of Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the end of the day, began the journey to her celestial home, the soul of our beloved Margaret Anne Dominguez at the age of 66. She was peacefully and lovingly surrounded by her family. She was born in Fairchild, Wisconsin to Wilbur and Norma Nething. Her early years were spent in Wisconsin. Her mother, Norma Nething was teaching at Clark Elementary, when one day, she came to visit her mother and met her husband while working at Pete Gallegos Trucking Company. That spark was lit and continued until her passing.
Margaret was an individual who loved many things, but nothing more than her family. She loved horses, riding and raising them, ever the strong woman that she was, because of course, she came from a proud line of Irish family. Once she drank the water and met the love of her life, Margaret made Laredo her home. Together with her husband, they belonged to Laredo Gypsy Motorcycle Club, where she earned her call sign, “Reddy Red”, a story that comes down from her uncle Andy’s nickname for her. Both Hector and Margaret shared a love and passion for the motorcycle club as well as for community events held throughout the City of Laredo.
Her memory will live on forever in the hearts and minds of those that loved and cherished her. May you rest in peace, “Reddy Red”.
Left behind to celebrate her life are her spouse: Hector Dominguez Jr.; daughter: Cordelia (Edgar Hernandez) Dominguez; son, Hector Andres Dominguez; mother in law, Carlota P. Dominguez; close family friend Delia Dominguez and her caregiver and provider who became more like family: Palmira Ponce. She is further survived by her brother in law, Omar (Sandra) Dominguez and sister in law, Sylvia D. Torres; cousin Joyce Nething, as well as by her family at the Laredo Gypsy Motorcycle Club.
The family will gather to celebrate her life on Wednesday the 8th of March 2017 from 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral and Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Prayer Service and Rosary will commence at 7 o’clock.
All services will conclude in the chapel and a cremation service will follow at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the funeral service professionals at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral and Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez, Laredo, TX 78040, 956.722.0001
