Marco Vera

Marco Antonio (Mark) Vera passed away on August 6, 2011, at the age of 61.

He is survived by his wife Maria Vera, children Marco Antonio Vera, Jr., Roberto Vera and grand children, Marco Antonio Vera III, Alejandro Vera, Maricela Vera, Mark Anthony Vera, Isabel Briana Vera and Christopher Rodriguez.-

He is also survived by his parents Antonio Vera and Maria P. Vera, siblings Diana Kirkendall, Javier (Linda) Vera, Patricia (Jorge) Valdez, Leticia (Luis) Jimenez, Graciela (Abelardo) Garza, Darlene (John) Baker, Alejandro (Alicia) Vera, and Antonio (Irene) Vera Jr.

Nieces and nephews are Elizabeth (Lazaro) Ramirez, Sheila (Enrique) Alvarado, Lilia (Matthew) Trevino, Javier R. Vera Jr., Elizabeth Jimenez, Michael Vera, John T. Baker Jr., Leslie Vera, Alex Vera Jr., Lauren Vera and Allie Vera.

Mark enjoyed carpentry work, a trade he learned from his father and collecting western/martial arts movies.-He enjoyed preparing all the meat for family carne asadas and gatherings.-

Mark was a hard worker and was always ready to help family and friends alike whenever he was needed.-He was a devoted father to his children and grandchildren, a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend.-He will be greatly missed by his parents, children, grandchildren, sisters and brothers.
