Lydia S. Treviño, 55, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, February 24, 2024. 

 

Lydia had a heart full of love, strength, and positivity, always facing life's challenges with a joyful spirit and a smile on her face. She had a deep passion for Tejano and country western music, enjoyed dancing, and found joy in watching scary movies.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Lidia G. Flores. 

 

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Homero Treviño; her children, Karina Martinez, Adolfo Martinez, III., Homero Treviño, Jr., Katalina Alejandra Treviño, and Hemilio Lamar Treviño; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Alexus Torres; her father, Gustavo Flores, Sr.; her siblings, Gustavo (Yvette) Flores, Jr., Gloria (Luis) Vazquez, and Nelda (Jorge) Rios; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

 

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, February 28, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, February 29, 2024 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Divine Mercy Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

 

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. 

 

Pallbearers will be: Homero Treviño, Jr., Hemilio Lamar Treviño, Adolfo Martinez, III., Jorge Alberto Rios, Jr., Sebastián Rios, Gustavo Flores, Jr., Luis Vazquez, and Jorge Rios.

 

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Humberto Treviño, III., and Gilberto Flores. 

 

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to: all her doctors for the great care they provided.
