Lydia G. Vasquez

Lydia G. Vasquez, 96, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Geronimo Vazquez, Sr.; her son Geronimo Vasquez, Jr.; and her parents, Margarito and Anita Guerra.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Raul Gerardo "Jerry" (Rita) Vazquez, Salvador (Noemi) Vasquez, Edgardo (Olga M.) Vasquez, and Margarito (Norma) Vasquez; her sister, Adriana G. Kazen; daughter-in-law, Olga C. Vasquez; as well as 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, March 10, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday morning, March 11, 2024 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
