LUIS “RUDY” RODOLFO SOTO
March 12, 1986- April 28, 2022
Luis “Rudy” Rodolfo Soto, 36, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his father Jose Soto, maternal grandfather Rodolfo C. Centeno, paternal grandfather Jose Soto, Sr., brother Jose Ulysses Soto.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Goratti Juarez, his mother Deyanira Centeno, siblings; Orlando I. Soto, Samantha D. Soto, Jonathan A. Gomez, Joseph H. Soto, and step-son, Jazhiel A. Juarez as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Luis “Rudy” Rodolfo Soto was known to many to be an incredibly intelligent person. From the age of 14 Luis starting working along side an uncle in the cellular business. There he learned and honed his knowledge of business. Luis went to Ligarde Elementary, Cigarroa Middle School, and to both Cigarroa and Johnson High Schools. He excelled in all of he academics, but was incredibly adept in Mathematics. In his adult life, Luis used his fondness of mathematics to develop a business construct strategy that helped many local businesses. This passion for helping businesses put him at the forefront of security consultancy in the City of Laredo and helped many businesses grow and flourish.
Luis was known to be a selfless man. Though he was a strict person he always put others before himself. He was especially known to be loving to his family. His dedication to friends and family pushed them to become better. Luis’s love for family was the reason why he worked hard. He made sure everyone was taken care regardless of his condition. He was the tip of the spear of his family always finding a way for the betterment of his family. He loved his mother dearly always making sure that she, his siblings, and nephews were taken care of. Luis lead the way for his family.
Luis fell in love with his wife, Goratti, 12 years ago. This bond of friendship and love is what matured Luis. They were together every moment and cherished it. Through this bond, Luis found a new reason to appreciate love and life . He chose to step up and become a father to Gorattis son, Jazhiel. 12 years Luis took care of his wife and son in a way that could only be described as an alpha wolf protecting the its pack. He also loved his nephews and niece.
These children were guided in strength and love by Luis. He helped raise them as if they were his own. He and Goratti worked hard to take care of these kids and show them a good path.
Luis Rodolfo Soto’s legacy is one of fighting for what you believe in and always finding a way to accomplish your goals no matter what it takes to get there. True dedication is created through love, strength of mind, and most importantly selflessness. That is the legacy Luis “Rudy” Rodolfo Soto left behind.
Luis will be missed by his family and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday evening, May 7, 2022 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Private Cremation will be held at a later date.
