Luis Salas

Luis Salas, 78, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013.

"I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7

Luis is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Salas, his children: Ruth (Santos) Gonzalez, Ruben Salas, Luis Salas Jr. and Veronica (Blas) Ortiz. Also surviving him are his grandchildren: Mario (Delia) Gonzalez, Louie (Claudia) Salas III, Bryan Salas and Alexis Rochelle Salas; his great-grandchildren, Alexsandra Salas and Louie Salas IV; three sisters and one brother.

Mr. Salas was an outstanding person, always ready to lend a hand and give a word of wisdom based in God's word. He will be sorely missed by his family and all his brothers and sister in faith.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witness located at 501 Madison St.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.
