Luis Gonzalez Sr.

Luis Fernando Gonzalez, Sr., 52, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 2, 2013. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Luis acquired a great sense of humor, which made him a fun and outgoing person to always be around. He enjoyed life to the fullest and made sure that all whom surrounded him felt the same. Luis will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Luis Fernando was preceded in death by his parents: Uvaldo and Rosa Maria Gonzalez, and his sister, Maria del Refugio Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years: Maria F. Gonzalez; children: Josue (Maria Elena) Gonzalez, Dulce Nohemi Gonzalez, Luis Fernando Gonzalez, Jr.; step-children: Daniel (Sabrina) Gonzalez, Justin (Sara) Gonzalez, Sasha (Julio) Cruz; grandchildren: Daniel Noah Gonzalez, Ezequiel Daniel Gonzalez; sisters and brothers: Eloisa Garza-Gonzalez, Graciela Gonzalez, Blanca (Francisco) Espitia, Ignacio (Maria D.) Gonzalez, Juan Uvaldo Gonzalez, Daniel (Marina) Gonzalez, Moises Gonzalez, Rebecca (David) Ramirez, Carolina (Jaime) Soto, Diana Rosales, and Hector Eduardo (Cynthia) Gonzalez. He is also survived by other loved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring @ Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Prayer service will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels for a Chapel Service at 9 a.m.. Procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
