With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Luis Arcadio Garcia, Jr. a devoted father, cherished companion, and a beacon of joy and laughter to all who knew him passed away Saturday October 5, 2024. Luis was born on July 27, 1985, in Laredo, TX. and was a proud US Army veteran with 5 1/2 years of service.
Throughout his life, Luis exemplified unwavering dedication to his family, loving his daughters beyond measure. He brought light and warmth wherever he went, his infectious laughter filling the room and his jovial spirit uplifting those around him. Luis had a fondness for the Dallas Cowboys, and his travels to Vegas and the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino brought him immense joy.
A responsible and caring soul, Luis took great pride in his role as a father and friend, always ensuring the happiness and well-being of those he held dear. His vibrant personality and quick wit endeared him to many, with his jokes and playful demeanor leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
As we mourn the loss of Luis, we find solace in the memories he created and the love he shared. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Arcadio Garcia and Elvira Garcia; maternal grandparents, Doroteo Vasquez and Olivia Vasquez; father-in-law, Eloy Santos.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 14 years of marriage Brenda Lee Garcia; children, Alexis Yvette Pulliam, Seriana Nicole Garcia, Aubree Elouise Garcia; parents, Luis A. Garcia and Agustina Garcia; siblings, Cindy (Juan) Martinez; Godson, Juan Jose Martinez III mother-in-law, Lupita Santos; sister-in-law, Monica Jaramillo; niece, Mia Jaramillo and Alyssa Leann Martinez, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, October 10, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will commence at 6:15 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, October 12, 2024 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Rite of Committal and Inurnment at the Veterans Section of the Laredo City Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army and the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard.
