Luis Esquivel

Mr. Luis C. Esquivel, 66, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, surrounded by his loving family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jose and Guadalupe Hernandez; children: Amanda Esquivel and Juan “Johnny Boy” Esquivel; and his sister: Elsa Esquivel.

Luis is survived by his children: Esteban Carlos Esquivel (Julia Campos), Gabriel Jorge (Carmen) Esquivel, Adan Jose (Claudia) Esquivel, Leodan (Evelina) Esquivel, Marla L. Esquivel (Kristopher) Willsey, Pablo Luis (America) Esquivel; 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister: Maria Esquivel; brothers: Enrique (Carol) Esquivel, Jose (Hilda) Esquivel, Jesus Esquivel; mother of his children: Teresa Martha Tijerina; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary being recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. to St. Agnes Catholic Mission, 3rd St., Mirando City, Texas, 78369, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow to Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City, Texas.

Pallbearers will be: Esteban Carlos Esquivel, Gabriel Jorge Esquivel, Adan Jose Esquivel, Leodan Esquivel, Marla L. Esquivel, and Pablo Luis Esquivel.
