Lucia Evangelina Jaramillo, 82, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
Our beloved Lucia; AMA, lived her beautiful years of life, crocheting, sewing, gardening and enjoying the outdoors. From storytelling about Tamaulipas and rejoicing memories with her siblings, to family gatherings and playing loteria, Lucia made sure to cherish those moments and memories that will keep her spirit alive for years to come. Lucia enjoyed traveling, and visiting San Juan to view la Virgen de Guadalupe, in which kept her faith strong and alive. This beautiful soul, shared a love so rare, in which she built friendships and relationships with those close and dear to her, just like her adult daycare friends. Let anytime you see the colors of purple or green, be the soul of Lucia guiding over you, and to remind you that her love for each of you still lives in us. From enjoying meals together, to teaching us how to cook, or even watching novelas and the Astros game together, are the memories her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, will cherish forever. As we all come together to celebrate her life, rejoice in God's grace and everlasting love in the memory of Lucia Evangelina Lerma-Jaramillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Refugio and Agapita Lerma; her husband Panfilo Jaramillo; her grandsons, Gerardo “J-Do” Dominguez, Jr., and Tommy Jay Escobar; her siblings, Mario Lerma, and Maria Andrea Lerma.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia (Julian) Alvarado, Mary (Juan Carlos Flores) Jaramillo, and Jesus (Cindy Ramirez) Jaramillo; grandchildren, Julian Alvarado, Jr., Sebastian Alvarado, Santiago Alvarado, Lorenzo Patricio Alvarado, Samantha Marie Dominguez, Tammy J-De Escobar, and Destiny Rae Escobar; great-grandchildren, Humberto Escobedo IV, and Amerie Danae Fuentes; siblings, Armando Caton Lerma, Maria Del Refugio Martinez, Lucas Roberto Lerma, and Elsa Garcia; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
