Lourdes Ramirez

Lourdes F. Ramirez, 90, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, October 4, 2021.

She was a beautiful lady, loyal wife of 55 years, great mother to her 4 children, amazing grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and true friend to all who knew her. Lourdes loved to travel the world, especially on cruises. She enjoyed going to the movies and never gave a bad review. She was a great fan of baseball and enjoyed attending the games or watching them on TV. She also loved to celebrate everyone’s birthday and was the perfect host. Every celebration included great food, company, music to dance to, and not to mention a Mariachi band. Above all, Lourdes loved dancing the night away, it was a passion of hers that never seemed to tire her. She is surely now dancing in Heaven and will truly be missed by all her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramiro A. Ramirez and grandson, Ricardo A. Ramirez.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children; Ramiro (Irma) Ramirez III, Luis Ramirez, Lourdes (Alfredo) Collazo, Ricardo Ramirez, grandchildren; Ramiro Ramirez IV, Irma Lourdes Ramirez, Luis (Noemi) Ramirez Jr, Carlos (Charlene) Ramirez, Thalia Ramirez, Chantal Ramirez, Triana Collazo, Alfredo Collazo and Christina Elizabeth (Jerome) Ramirez-Rosales. In addition, her great grandchildren; Luis J., Anissa, Natalia, Sophia, McKenna, Lexia, Ava, Paislyn and Carlos Jr., including numerous family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a Catholic Prayer Service at 12 p.m.at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers, who provided excellent care full of compassion throughout her last years: Jerome Rosales Jr, Christina Ramirez-Rosales, and Ricardo Ramirez.
