Lily Torres

Lily Estela, 78, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 19, 2012.-Lily was born on February 10, 1934 and resided in Laredo her whole life.-She worked for Mercy Hospital for over 42 years.-She loved working at Mercy especially with the nuns who founded and worked there.-Lily was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother, and great friend.-She will always be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Lily was preceded in death by her spouse Daniel Torres, Sr., and grandchildren Ernest J. Hale, and Christopher Michael Hale.

She is survived by her children:-Cristela Lili "Cristy" (Pedro "Pete") Torres-Gonzalez of San Antonio, Daniel (Minerva) Torres, Jr. of Laredo, Adrianna Yvette (Fernando) Torres-Chapa of Laredo; 12 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.


Pallbearers are:-Daniel Torres, Jr.(son), Fernando Chapa (son-in-law), Pedro Gonzalez (son-in-law), Jhon Nathan Torres (grandson), Luis Fernando Chapa (grandson), Isaiah David Torres (grandson), Daniel Torres III (grandson).

Honorary Pallbearer is: Ernest Joel Hale, Jr. (grandson).
