Mrs. Lidia A. Leal, 94, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 27, 2020. Mrs. Leal passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Leal was preceded in death by her loving husband Osvaldo Leal; parents, Francisco and Francisca Adame; sisters, Josefa Martinez, Maria Elena Campos; brothers, Martin, Domingo, Antonio, and Isaias Adame.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Esther H. (Agapito) Garcia, Jr., Bertha H. (Raul L.) Volpe, Jr., Osvaldo F. (Marina) Leal, Mercedes L. (Charles A.) Lira; grandchildren, Alberto A. Garcia, Jorge (Dora) L. Garcia, Esther (Joe) Colunga, Bertha (Rey) L. “Birdie” Volpe, Diana (Adam) V. Ellis, Cynthia L. Volpe, Zonia (Oscar) V. Martinez, Raul (Violet) L. Volpe III, Esteban O. Leal +, Lydia (Marco Antonio) Vasquez, Orlando (Elizabeth) F. Leal, Rolando (Kimmy) V. Leal, Marina L. Leal, Christina (Sergio) L. Ramirez, Charles A. Lira, Jr., and Richard (Amy) D. Lira; and 22 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by numerous other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, March 30, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning, March 31, 2020 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels for a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
