Lee Mynard, born March 16, 1955, has gone to be with his Heavenly Father. Lee was a courageous man who lived his life with an amazing outlook, always caring for his family and friends and enjoying their time together to the fullest. He was a father of five great sons. Throughout his life, Lee always carried a smile, laughter, and zest for life to see what was over the next horizon. He shared with his family and friends his love of the outdoors, which allowed them to partake in God’s beautiful nature. To know Lee was to know a man who was God fearing, patriotic, and Texan through and through, a real man’s man. He touched many lives in so many ways. If he were here today, he would ask you to join him at his ranch, spend time around the fire, talk until 4:00 in the morning and eat from the pit 24/7. Those who loved him were many, and his friends which he treated like family and were dear and near to him. He made his home your home and the door was always open for friends and strangers alike.
To celebrate his life of 64 years is to say it the way only Lee Mynard would say it, “Live tall, live proud, live for another fight, live for another day, and live life 100% to the fullest, every minute of every hour of every day!” Cancer may have been his last battle, but Lee won that battle with his peaceful passing into God’s waiting arms.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. -Psalms 23
