After he placed his hands on them, he went away." Matthew 13-15 Our little angel, Kahlan Annabel Martinez, was called back to heaven at 3 and a half months of age. Even though our hearts are deeply saddened and affected by her loss, we turn to our faith for help and guidance through this difficult time. We thank God for having blessed us with her and now return her to him so that one day in the future we may be reunited with her in heaven. She is preceded in death by her maternal great-uncle, Arturo Oscar Morales. Baby Kahlan is survived by her loving parents: Juan Manuel and Erika Martinez, Jr.; sister: Isabel Nana Martinez; maternal grandparents: Jesus Maria (Rosa) Morales; paternal grandparents: Juan Manuel (Benjamina) Martinez, Sr.; aunts: Jennifer (Reynaldo) Leal, Rose Marie (Alfredo, Jr.) Garca; cousins: Mnica Esmeralda Navarro, Lorena Navarro and Fernando Navarro. She is further survived by her paternal great-grandparents: Concepcion and Maria Del Refugio Navarro as well as Hortencia Martinez and many beloved relatives. The family will receive condolences on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson Springfield Funeral Chapel, 1900 Springfield Ave., with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 9 a.m. in the funeral home with departure immediately following the service to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
