JULIETA “LA CHATITA” FERDIN

July 30, 1926 – June 29, 2023

Julieta “La Chatita” Ferdin, at the age of 96, was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

She was preceded in passing by her sons, Sergio A. Lopez and Jose Luis Lopez; and by her daughter, Ana Maria Gonzalez.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Cecilia Garza, Laura (Homero) Treviño, Jorge Lopez, Rosa E. Serrano, and Julieta Lopez; as well as by numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, July 04, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday morning, July 05, 2023 departing at 10 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
